The Rotary Club of Bega is sponsoring Sarnelli House in Thailand through a joint sponsorship with the Rotary Club of Forbes.

Sarnelli House provides a home for abandoned and abused children and children affected with HIV/AIDS. It also runs an outreach program in the village for families in need. Prior to the COVID-19 travel restrictions, Members from Forbes Rotary Club travelled to Sarnelli House and speak volumes about their first-hand experiences. Children are taken in and given an education and medicines that have enable them to survive and thrive.
The Rotary Club of Bega is proud to be part of this project with Forbes. Bega club member, Suzanne, travelled to Forbes to present our contribution to Ross, the Project Director. There were many stories of visits made by Forbes Members to Sarnelli House that included painting the classrooms, providing advice on soil improvement as well as observing first hand the many ways that their sponsorship has helped these orphaned children.
