A new President of Bega Rotary started her role with our Changeover dinner held on Thursday 11 June at the Bega Country Club.
Outgoing President Charlie Blomfield handed over to Colleen Rietschel for the 2026-27 year. Colleen outlined her priorities for the coming year with a special emphasis on Youth. The new Board was introduced and a new member was inducted as well. Mayor Russel Fitzpatrick addressed the members but formalities were kept to a minimum so that there was plenty of time for fellowship amongst the 39 members and guests attending.
The new Board is: President: Colleen Rietschel, Secretary: Claire Walker, Treasurer: Charlie Blomfield, Foundation: Richard Kleine, Community: Marg Taylor, Youth: Phil McDonald, Communications: Cate Caddy and Club Service: Ken Sullivan.
With lots of enthusiasm amongst the members it looks like a good year ahead for Bega Rotary.
