What a great night we had at our annual Changeover dinner, with 39 people attending and a lot of laughter attesting to the good fellowship.
Past President Anne Ducray handed over to President Phil McDonald who introduced the new Board and outlined his plans for the year. The Rotary motto for the year is “Imagine” but Phil is challenging us to ‘re-imagine’ in our club and to step up. We’re ready for an exciting and busy year ahead.
Bega Valley Shire Mayor, Russell Fitzpatrick attended and we’re always grateful for the Mayor’s support. Other distinguished guests included Assistant Governor Adam deToeth, Presidents of the Rotary Clubs of Merimbula and Pambula, as well as representatives of Merimbula-Pambula Lions and Tathra Lions. Well-known long-term members Paul Windle and Dirk Kruitt also attended.
Paul Windle OA, a Paul Harris Fellow, was recognised with an Honorary Membership. Many thanks to PeaNut Eatery and to all who contributed to such a wonderful evening.
