Assisting with bush fire recovery

In association with the Northbridge, Pambula and Merimbula clubs we worked with Council to build a new pavilion at Kiah to replace the hall that had been destroyed in the fires. This was opened in early September.

Together with Pambula and Merimbula clubs we have provided a generator to a resident in Big Jack Mountain and 70 vouchers for school children whose family lost homes in the fires.

The Rotary Club of Canberra Weston Creek has initiated a plant replacement program for the Cobargo area. One of our members sourced tubestock from Greenhills Propagation Nursery and our members planted 460 seedlings.

The Rotary Club of Fareham Meon in the United Kingdom donated £700 ($1,400) which provided storage units for the Quaama community

A Canberra club donated toys for local school children which we helped deliver

The ladies of the Avondale Golf Club donated 25 hand-woven blankets for bushfire victims which we delivered

In association with Pambula and Merimbula Rotarians we provided work boots, septic pits, composting toilets and gas powered showers to those in need

A Sydney Church group is providing finance for sixty 4,000L water tanks for fire damaged properties which we are helping with assessment and delivery.

Corrimal Rotary has provided financing for a 1,500L water trailer and fit-out of demountable at Quaama Community Hall.
